About the Role

A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle meets company safety standards and complying with all regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports are completed to address defects promptly. The driver conducts thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operates the truck along assigned routes, lifts and loads refuse, operates the compactor, and disposes of material at designated facilities. They interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for violations, clean spills, keep the vehicle clean, and complete required productivity and condition reports. Safety policies, productivity standards, and the ReSOP program are followed, and other duties are performed as assigned. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections (tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, controls) • Operate manual/automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste along assigned routes • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as directed • Tag and report unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and clean accidental spills following safety standards • Keep the truck body and packer blade clean on each disposal trip • Complete daily route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports (VCRs), and other required documentation • Adhere to productivity standards and safety policies, including participation in the ReSOP program • Maintain professional, courteous interactions with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers

What You Bring
