About the Role
• Integrate into the national water treatment team and communicate proactively. • Prepare technical deliverables such as reports, proposals, process schematics, specifications, and layout drawings. • Support process engineering tasks including technology selection, equipment sizing, process modelling, mass balances, hydraulic assessments, and 3D layout development. • Participate in projects from concept and feasibility through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations support. • Manage multiple concurrent projects, adapting to evolving schedules and priorities. • Coordinate with colleagues, vendors, clients, and subcontractors as project experience deepens. • Provide technical and project support to intermediate and senior engineers. • Engage in ongoing skill development and mentorship to enhance technical and consulting capabilities. • Work primarily in an office or hybrid environment, with short site visits and occasional longer field assignments.

What You Bring
• Undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering (graduate studies an asset). • Eligible for registration as an EIT or P.Eng with a Canadian engineering regulator (EGBC/APEG A). • 0–2 years of relevant experience; co‑op or internship experience considered. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French an asset. • Organized, detail‑oriented, with strong time‑management abilities. • Experience using engineering software and commercial tools for technical problem‑solving. • Interest or experience in proposal development and business development activities. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Field experience and a valid driver’s license are assets. • Exposure to impactful water and wastewater treatment projects in industrial, municipal, and mining sectors.
