About the Role

• Lead delivery and continuous improvement of security services, especially manned guarding. • Manage and develop a small in‑house security team (2 FTE) and provide corporate security admin support. • Oversee third‑party contracts for guarding, temporary security, and electronic systems maintenance, ensuring compliance with service levels, KPIs and legislation. • Audit supplier performance, resolve compliance issues and enhance supply‑chain resilience. • Create and embed security policies, standards and best practices across the organisation. • Collaborate with the Alarm Monitoring Centre and internal security teams to deliver an integrated, compliant security suite. • Conduct service reviews, analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Manage budgets, billing processes and operational communications throughout the business. • Support the development of new security contracts and framework agreements. • Contribute to framework tenders and new service development projects.

What You Bring

• Possess 5+ years of operational security experience, including management of manned guarding services in regulated environments. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of security legislation, industry standards and water‑sector guidance. • Experience auditing service delivery and improving contract performance. • Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and communicate effectively at all organisational levels. • Understand security supply‑chain risks and resilience strategies. • Work independently, prioritise competing tasks and deliver across a wide geographic region. • Hold a full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and eligibility for SC‑level national security vetting.
