Maintenance Technician - D-Shift

About the Role

Assemblers are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining a variety of industrial equipment, including sheet‑metal machines, engines, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems, using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Required competencies span electrical (voltage and current measurement, basic wiring, NEC/UL knowledge), mechanical (belt and chain drives, motor installation, HVAC and refrigerant handling), pneumatic (line installation, pressure regulation, compressor repair), hydraulic (pump and valve maintenance, fluid contamination control), and basic welding (MIG/TIG identification and safety). Effective communication and teamwork are essential for supporting the maintenance organization. • Rotate among assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping stations on a fast‑paced production line. • Diagnose, repair, adjust, and maintain sheet‑metal machinery, engines, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems per manuals. • Measure voltage, current, and power; troubleshoot electrical faults and perform basic wiring according to NEC/UL codes. • Align, install, and service belt drives, chain drives, pulleys, shafts, bearings, couplings, and motors. • Handle HVAC components, refrigerant charging/recovery, VFD/controls adjustment, and filter replacement. • Install and maintain pneumatic lines, regulate pressures, and service compressors and vacuum pumps. • Perform hydraulic work including pump, hose, valve, cylinder, filter, and regulator installation and contamination prevention. • Conduct basic MIG/TIG welding tasks while using appropriate safety equipment. • Utilize hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and basic mathematics for construction tasks. • Communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to solve problems and provide backup as needed. • Adhere to safety protocols while working in dusty, extreme‑temperature environments and lifting up to 50 lb.
