About the Role
The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services. Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces inside buildings. Use light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments. Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas, and spot clean daily, shampooing rugs when directed. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces, including periodic high dusting. Wash windowsills, interior door glass, partitions, and specified windows. Wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior and exterior, and spot clean interior walls daily. Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies each day. Standard bathroom procedures include damp‑wiping glass surfaces, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, dusting sills, cleaning tile walls, shelves, stall partitions, and sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors. Monitor for defects such as clogged urinals or lights out and report them to supervisors. Collect building trash daily, place it in approved containers, and move it to designated collection areas for removal. Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers according to specifications. Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways at building entrances and connecting sidewalks as directed. Perform periodic work such as high dusting, polishing leather and wood surfaces, and wall washing. Complete any other duties as assigned. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors using commercial buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum and spot‑clean rugs in offices and public areas. • Dust furniture, exhibits, fixtures, and perform high‑dusting as needed. • Maintain and clean restrooms, restock supplies, and report plumbing or lighting issues. • Collect and dispose of building trash, replace liners, and manage recycling. • Remove snow and ice from entrances and walkways as directed. • Perform periodic tasks such as leather and wood polishing and wall washing. • Follow directions, work independently or as a team, and operate cleaning equipment safely.

What You Bring
Basic cleaning responsibilities require no prior experience. Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team. Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including a portable backpack‑style vacuum, is required. Compensation for this role is $16.10 – $18.94 per hour and will not be less than minimum wage. • Earn $16.10‑$18.94 hourly with eligibility for health, vision, dental, retirement, and other benefits.
