About the Role

The company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work remotely. The role involves designing complex power and building systems such as generator plants, medium‑voltage distribution, UPS, lighting, fire alarm and grounding for mission‑critical facilities. • Design electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, receptacles, general, essential, and critical infrastructure • Plan and execute engineering tasks independently or within a team • Support design and construction stages of projects • Lead electrical design of complex projects • Develop drawing and specification documents for architects, contractors, and owners • Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions • Mentor entry‑level and junior engineers • Coordinate with internal discipline teams, equipment vendors, and manufacturers • Communicate complex engineering concepts to clients and stakeholders • Integrate electrical requirements into facility designs • Maintain and develop client relationships • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders • Research and recommend components for electrical designs • Develop equipment room layouts, floor plans, and one‑line diagrams • Schedule equipment and manage logistics • Perform short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash calculations • Conduct construction administration tasks • Survey and evaluate existing conditions

What You Bring

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on building systems, have at least five years of experience in high‑performance commercial or data‑center projects, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical analysis tools (SKM, eTap, Cyme) and familiarity with relevant codes are required; EIT/PE licensure and international project exposure are preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with building systems emphasis • Minimum 5 years designing electrical systems for high‑performance commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical/data‑center buildings • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and written/verbal communication skills • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, eTap or Cyme • Knowledge of building, electrical, and energy codes • Ability to organize and present design information • Detail‑oriented, highly organized self‑starter • Ability to travel to project sites • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) certification (preferred) • Experience with short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash analysis (preferred) • Design of reliable Medium and Low Voltage infrastructure (preferred) • Mission‑critical/data‑center project experience (preferred) • International project experience (preferred)
