About the Role

• Install, program, configure, commission and service fire alarm and suppression systems (e.g., Simplex, Fike, Kidde, Inergen, Sapphire, FM‑200, CO₂) • Execute projects on time within allocated installation hours • Coordinate with project manager to resolve discrepancies and coordinate trades • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics and manuals • Train customers on equipment operation and conduct simulations • Provide excellent customer service and maintain communication with staff and customers • Complete project documentation promptly and adhere to OSHA and company safety policies • Participate in on‑call rotation and perform other assigned duties

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years experience with low‑voltage electrical/Fire‑Life Safety systems • Ability to read blueprints, submittals and product manuals • Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, multimeter, digital analyzer, commissioning devices • Physical capability to lift 50‑70 lb and work at heights up to 40 ft, in ducts, crawl spaces, etc. • Team leadership and collaboration skills; adherence to safety guidelines • Strong organization, positive attitude and quick learning ability • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record; pass background and drug test • Willingness to travel overnight; NICET Level II preferred; knowledge of local fire codes
