About the Role

The Quarry Operative – Mobile Plant will join the quarry operations team to operate both mobile and static plant equipment safely and efficiently. Working closely with site management, the operative will also carry out routine maintenance, support the main processing plant, and contribute to site productivity. • Operate mobile and static plant equipment as certified and directed by Site Management • Perform general maintenance tasks including refueling, greasing, and cleaning • Ensure equipment operates economically and follows manufacturer and company guidelines • Complete daily inspection sheets and report defects or issues to the General Foreman • Submit near‑miss reports and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement • Adopt a proactive and responsible approach to site operations
