About the Role
• Work across multiple UK water authorities, focusing on United Utilities • Contribute as part of multi‑disciplinary design teams • Review design submissions for contract compliance • Conduct studies and produce concept, preliminary and detailed designs • Liaise with clients and stakeholders • Mentor and develop junior staff • Lead civil engineers, check designs and provide technical direction • Ensure designs meet legislation and standards • Integrate civil design with other disciplines • Build strong client and contractor relationships to enhance reputation and win work • Lead engineering or multi‑disciplinary design teams on water/wastewater projects

What You Bring
