About the Role

The Project Manager will oversee the planning and execution of deep‑excavation activities, ensuring that work proceeds safely, on budget, and on schedule. This role includes leading multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining client and regulatory relationships. • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans for excavation and support‑of‑excavation (SOE) scopes. • Coordinate design reviews and approve submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders. • Identify ground‑condition risks and implement mitigation strategies for sequencing and logistics. • Oversee daily field operations, including excavation, shoring, drilling, and soil removal. • Ensure proper installation of secant piles, soldier piles, lagging, walers, rakers, struts, and caisson foundations. • Monitor heavy equipment usage such as excavators, drilling rigs, cranes, and haul trucks. • Enforce OSHA‑aligned site safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and perform risk assessments. • Manage environmental compliance related to soil handling, groundwater, and site control. • Coordinate procurement of steel, concrete, bracing systems, drilling consumables, and dewatering equipment. • Supervise subcontractor performance, review invoices, and approve progress reports. • Serve as primary liaison for clients, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies, providing regular progress reports.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least ten years of construction management experience in large‑scale excavation and foundation projects, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. • Require bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). • Minimum 10+ years experience in construction project management with emphasis on excavation, SOE, and foundation work. • Demonstrated expertise with secant piles, caissons, soldier‑pile and lagging systems, and steel bracing. • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil classifications, and site logistics. • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost‑control/budgeting tools. • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. • OSHA 30 certification preferred; PMP, DFI training, and EIT/PE licenses considered a plus.

Benefits
