About the Role

• Lead and supervise the Estate Upkeep team to perform trades work across Defence sites. • Capture and report KPI and performance metrics for estate maintenance activities. • Provide accurate asset condition data and ensure work meets required standards. • Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with works delivery.

The role commences in February 2026 and welcomes candidates from all backgrounds, whether you bring Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. If you are passionate about supporting Defence capability and want to be part of a high‑performing, inclusive team, we encourage you to express your interest today. • Hold a valid Trade Certificate (Carpentry, Plumbing, or Electrical) and NSW trade licence. • Demonstrate general trade experience with leadership and maintenance supervision skills. • Possess knowledge of asset compliance and management techniques. • Maintain a current open driver’s licence and be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance (citizenship required); Building Maintenance Leadership Certification is desirable.
