About the Role
In this position, the engineer will perform advanced electrical design and construction supervision tasks with minimal supervision, applying sophisticated engineering techniques and analyses. Responsibilities also include supervising other electrical engineers, assigning tasks, and coordinating electrical work with structural, mechanical, and civil disciplines. As part of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team, the employee will help design and deliver infrastructure that improves community quality of life, promotes economic growth, and enhances mobility, sustainability, and resiliency. • Provide Professional Engineer’s seal and signature after verifying compliance with codes, standards, and specifications. • Travel to supplier, client, or construction sites to inspect work and conduct acceptance testing. • Perform stage and final inspections of new and existing electrical equipment and installations. • Write inspection reports and design studies, and prepare detailed backup for construction cost estimates. • Supervise junior engineers and provide performance feedback. • Coordinate electrical work with structural, mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines. • Give technical guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and engineers on project teams. • Review supplier drawing submittals, respond to field RFIs, and conduct technical bid analyses.

What You Bring

Benefits
