About the Role
The technician checks in with the manager and client daily, completes all required paperwork and time‑keeping, and ensures receipts, invoices, and excess‑material documentation are properly processed. They assist other JCI/Silent‑Aire field technicians, respond promptly to office emails and calls, secure necessary parts and tools, and report warranty repairs. The technician also trains Level‑1 Field Service Technicians, follows all company policies, adheres to non‑disclosure agreements, and maintains safety equipment at all times. • Check in with manager and client daily and obtain client signatures on forms. • Complete all daily paperwork, time‑clock entries, and expense documentation with correct job numbers. • Perform scheduled tasks, assist fellow field technicians, and respond promptly to office communications. • Secure required parts and tools for each job and report warranty repairs to management. • Train and support Level‑1 Field Service Technicians. • Follow company policies, non‑disclosure agreements, and maintain safety equipment at all times.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Field Services Technician to support equipment commissioning and post‑sales service activities. The role requires both independent work and teamwork, sound judgment, and the ability to make informed decisions in the field. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of maintaining a high standard of service with minimal supervision. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be a registered apprentice in Electrical or HVAC. They need a solid understanding of basic electrical and control systems, HVAC and mechanical systems, ability to read mechanical drawings, and knowledge of OHMS law and multimeter use. Additional requirements include a valid driver’s license and passport, ability to lift 40 lb, basic Windows and Microsoft Office skills, and experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments. Preferred candidates are registered refrigeration/HVAC technicians, controls technicians, electrician journeymen, or related tradespeople with experience in highly sensitive or mission‑critical facilities. The position requires local travel, on‑call and overtime hours as needed, use of personal protective equipment, a DOD background check confirming U.S. citizenship, and compliance with a company uniform and hygiene standards. Travel may be domestic or international. • Hold a high school diploma/GED and be a registered apprentice in Electrical or HVAC. • Understand basic electrical, control, HVAC, and mechanical systems; read mechanical drawings; apply OHMS law with a multimeter. • Possess a valid driver’s license, passport, and ability to lift 40 lb and work at heights. • Have experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities and basic proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office. • Preferred: certified refrigeration/HVAC technician, controls technician, or electrician journeyman with mission‑critical facility experience. • Available for on‑call, overtime, and travel to customer sites (domestic and international) while wearing required PPE and uniform. • Pass a DOD background check requiring U.S. citizenship.
