About the Role

The engineer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing low‑voltage electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security, emergency lighting and access control. Regular testing, inspection and accurate documentation will be required to meet industry standards and safety regulations. Additional duties include fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, compliance with health‑and‑safety policies, and collaboration with team members, contractors and clients. • Install, maintain, and repair low‑voltage electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security, emergency lighting, and access control. • Conduct testing, inspection, and produce documentation to ensure compliance with industry codes and safety standards. • Diagnose faults and execute repairs, performing preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime. • Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients, providing guidance to junior staff when needed. • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory records.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a C&G Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation Diploma (or equivalent) and the C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 test‑and‑inspection certification, with knowledge of the 18th edition regulations. Experience with electrical and HVAC systems, building fabric repairs, and a strong understanding of health‑and‑safety obligations are essential. A full UK driving licence, good communication and organisational skills, a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude and the willingness to work out‑of‑hours are also required. • Possess C&G Level 2 & 3 Electrical Installation Diploma (or equivalent) and C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 certification. • Demonstrate strong electrical, HVAC, and building‑fabric knowledge, adhering to the 18th edition regulations. • Hold a full UK driving licence and be prepared to work flexible or out‑of‑hours schedules. • Exhibit strong communication, organisational skills and a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude.
