About the Role

The incumbent will create and update technical training materials such as presentations, manuals, e‑learning modules and job aids, ensuring alignment with product updates, safety standards and service requirements, and will standardize resources across product lines (loaders, haul trucks, drills, etc.). Supporting the Technical Training Specialist, the creator will plan and deliver in‑class, virtual and hands‑on sessions, set up classrooms and equipment, provide technical demonstrations, and act as a resource for learners. They will also collect and analyse trainee feedback, maintain training records, and provide follow‑up support. Additional duties include acting as a technical point of contact for new hires, coaching on equipment and processes, assisting supervisors with queries, conducting training‑needs analysis with managers and technical teams, monitoring emerging products and technology changes, and proposing new delivery methods such as simulators or microlearning. • Create and update technical training materials (presentations, manuals, e‑learning, job aids). • Align content with product updates, safety standards and service requirements. • Standardize training resources across all product lines. • Plan and deliver in‑class, virtual and hands‑on training sessions. • Set up classrooms, equipment and training aids for each session. • Collect, analyze and report trainee feedback to improve courses. • Maintain training records in coordination with the L&C Administrator. • Provide technical support and coaching to new hires during onboarding. • Conduct training‑needs analysis with managers and technical teams. • Propose and implement new delivery methods such as simulators, blended learning and microlearning. • Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety standards.

What You Bring

The role involves co‑creating and delivering product and application training for its mining equipment and services, and developing standardized training setups for large‑scale and modular plants. The role requires a 2‑year technical degree or diploma in a mechanical discipline, at least five years of technical experience, training in technical/operator trades, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to travel. Bilingual French/English is an asset, and candidates should be self‑motivated, investigative, computer‑savvy, customer‑focused and possess a positive attitude. • Hold a 2‑year technical degree/diploma and at least 5 years of technical experience. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, investigative and diagnostic skills. • Ability to travel frequently and work in a team environment. • Bilingual French/English considered an asset.
