About the Role

A Driver with a CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services to customers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with company safety standards, adhere to all applicable regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following designated routes and maps, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, and compact refuse, and disposing of collected material at the proper facility. The driver interacts courteously with customers and dispatchers, tags unsatisfactory containers, monitors waste for violations, cleans accidental spills, and continuously checks vehicle readiness while maintaining productivity standards and safety protocols.
