About the Role
The Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and helps coordinate all aspects of daily operations. This role serves as a central point of contact for operational information and ensures smooth workflow across the department. Key duties include troubleshooting safety, service, and operational issues, maintaining and distributing departmental information, and communicating with supervisors and managers about operational concerns. The specialist also maintains the office environment and acts as the KRONOS proxy for daily driver and helper updates. Responsibilities extend to using Microsoft Suite and other software tools to manage procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, as well as assisting with payment processing and financial tasks. The role supports the implementation of operational projects and communicates service issues to customers and scheduling assignments to employees. • Provide clerical and administrative support to collection managers and coordinate daily operations. • Troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues while maintaining departmental information. • Serve as KRONOS proxy, updating driver and helper schedules and time‑and‑attendance records. • Use Microsoft Suite and related software to manage procurement, safety incidents, contract labor, and financial processing. • Communicate service issues to customers and scheduling assignments to employees. • Assist with implementation of operational projects as needed. • Work in a professional office environment using standard office equipment.
