About the Role

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, and AI. As PDE Operations, you will design and run the systems that help Product and Engineering teams move faster with more clarity and less overhead. Your focus is turning signals into action—customer feedback into insights, delivery data into meaningful metrics, and AI tools into productivity gains. Learn more about Sitemate through podcasts featuring the CEO, CMO, and CTO, employee testimonials, customer reviews on G2 Crowd and TrustRadius, and team off‑site videos from 2022‑2025. • Own and evolve SIFT (System for Insights, Feedback & Trends), using AI to analyze customer and prospect feedback across channels • Design and maintain feedback, NPS, and insight pipelines that teams actually use • Coordinate KPI, SLA, and delivery metrics across Product and Engineering • Work with teams to improve delivery velocity, quality, and predictability • Support rollout and adoption of AI tools, measuring usage and impact • Reduce operational load on the CTO and PGMs by handling admin, coordination, and tooling work • Act as a thought partner to Product, Design, and Engineering leadership on priorities, trade‑offs, and execution • Create systems that scale across many teams with different workflows • Balance central consistency with team autonomy • Avoid becoming unnecessary process or middle management • Collaborate credibly with engineers, product managers, and senior leaders

Key Responsibilities

What You Bring

• Design metrics and insights that inform decisions without creating fear or excessive overhead • Operate effectively in ambiguous, undefined environments • Enjoy working at the intersection of people, systems, and technology • Think in workflows and outcomes rather than just tools or frameworks • Comfortable with ambiguity and shaping problems before solving them • Prefer rigid processes over iterative, evolving systems • Uncomfortable working closely with technical teams • Strong operational and systems thinking • Ability to turn messy inputs (feedback, data, requests) into clear outputs • Clear written and verbal communication • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams • Experience in Product Ops, Engineering Ops, TPM, or similar roles (nice to have) • Exposure to delivery analytics or developer experience tooling (nice to have) • Experience supporting leadership teams (CTO, Heads of Product/Engineering) (nice to have) • Experience working in scaling or high‑growth environments (nice to have) • Google Docs • Spreadsheets • AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT etc.

Benefits

The position is hands‑on and execution‑heavy, working closely with the CTO, Product leaders, and Engineering Managers to improve delivery, quality, and decision‑making at scale. Employment offers a salary range of AU$100,000‑AU$120,000. At Sitemate you will join a global team that values transparency, high velocity, hustle, diversity, and innovation. The environment is flexible, fast‑moving, and outcome‑driven, designed to help you do the best work of your career while being surrounded by people who take pride in their results and believe great culture is built on trust, respect, and continuous learning. The company practices transparency at every level with monthly All‑hands meetings sharing key metrics, updates, and customer stories, and highlights a team member’s “Life Story” each month. High velocity and low friction are supported by modern, fully integrated systems so you spend time solving problems, not fighting tools. Performance‑driven growth is recognized through proactive pay increases, and true flexibility lets you focus on outcomes rather than hours. Sitemate offers competitive, performance‑based remuneration, equity options, 20 days of paid annual leave plus additional sick, carer’s, and compassionate leave, and generous parental leave. Employees also receive a professional growth budget, a transparent career development framework, a laptop and home‑office setup budget, and the ability to work remotely or hybrid with occasional weeks of location freedom.
