About the Role
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair plant equipment and machinery. The role also includes assisting with installation and adjustments of mechanical systems, conducting inspections to identify issues, and promptly reporting or resolving them. Safety procedures must be followed to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and collaboration with team members and supervisors supports production and maintenance goals. • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery. • Assist with installation and adjustments of mechanical systems to ensure reliable operation. • Conduct inspections to identify equipment issues and promptly report or resolve them. • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production and maintenance goals. • Apply strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and safety guidelines. • Commit to safe practices around machinery and adhere to established procedures. • Work in environments with moving equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and high noise levels.
