About the Role
The Senior Real Estate Title Agent role supports HDR’s mission by delivering expert title services for projects worldwide, collaborating closely with project managers, clients, surveyors, and engineers to ensure successful outcomes. • Prepare and review project reports and title document packages. • Analyze complex encumbrances and provide clearance recommendations per client standards. • Review Right‑Of‑Way centerline surveys and collaborate with surveyors and engineers. • Serve as a strategic expert, resolving high‑level scope and complexity problems. • Plan, organize, and supervise medium to large staff of professionals and technicians. • Train junior staff on task completion and procedural best practices. • Interpret legal descriptions, including metes and bounds, subdivisions, and centerlines. • Oversee schedule and budget for title projects in support of the Project Manager. • Maintain accurate records of title research in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements. • Coordinate with Project Manager, client, and title manager/underwriter to meet project timelines. • Apply policies and procedures for title clearing according to client standards. • Prepare specialized real estate documents and memoranda for clients and projects.

What You Bring
Due to client contract requirements, US‑born citizenship is required for this position. The role offers opportunities to lead and develop a medium to large team of professionals and technicians while working independently on multiple deadlines. • Minimum 5 years experience in right‑of‑way, title, paralegal, real property law, or mortgage lending. • Knowledge of real estate title practices, underwriting, title insurance, and public records research. • Ability to review diverse real estate documents such as plans, surveys, deeds, liens, and judgments. • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. • Understanding of the Uniform Relocation Act, Eminent Domain process, and relevant statutes. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet multiple deadlines. • Hold required state certification or license where applicable. • Solid organizational and planning skills; proficient with MS Office, Webex, Teams; familiarity with Database, ProjectWise, GIS a plus. • Degree or certification in right‑of‑way, title, paralegal, real property law, mortgage lending, or equivalent experience preferred.
