About the Role

The Community Manager is the on‑site leader responsible for overseeing all operations of a housing community—including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk management—while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards, and fair‑housing regulations. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, coaching, performance issues, and schedule creation. • Develop and monitor annual operating budgets, forecasts, and strive to maximize net operating income. • Oversee rent collection, deposit reconciliation, and timely processing of vendor invoices. • Create yearly marketing plans and lead leasing efforts to achieve occupancy targets. • Address resident complaints, implement retention programs, and manage resident communications. • Ensure accurate administrative and leasing reporting and complete property closeouts on schedule. • Lead the property emergency response team and coordinate appropriate handling of incidents. • Monitor maintenance service requests, conduct regular property inspections, and oversee repairs and renovations. • Maintain compliance with fair‑housing laws, OSHA requirements, and company policies.

What You Bring

• Require high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred); 1‑2 years relevant experience; CAM or ARM certification desirable. • Proficient with on‑site software and basic computer skills. • Physical ability to stand, lift up to 25 lb, use ladders, operate equipment, and work in varied environmental conditions. • Must have reliable transportation for emergency on‑call responsibilities.

Benefits

Compensation includes a salary range of $60,000 to $68,000 per year, a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) match), and eligibility for commission, performance bonuses, paid sick days, and company holidays.
