About the Role
The role involves leading Aboriginal engagement for a major infrastructure project, building trusted relationships with Traditional Owners, RAPs, and Aboriginal organisations. Responsibilities include guiding cultural protocols, managing cultural heritage obligations and CHMP processes, and supporting Indigenous employment and procurement outcomes. The position reports to the Operational Support Manager and works closely with delivery, environment, land access, procurement, and communications teams. It also entails delivering cultural capability training and advising project leaders. • Lead Aboriginal engagement and build strong relationships with Traditional Owners, RAPs and Aboriginal organisations • Guide cultural protocols across the project • Manage cultural heritage obligations and CHMP processes • Drive Indigenous employment and procurement outcomes • Provide advice to leaders and project teams
