Job Highlights
About the Role
This role is a six‑month fixed‑term contract focused on providing guidance and support to IBX teams to meet routine Health & Safety requirements, ensure compliance and champion best practice. You will assist with internal and external audits, work closely with the existing H&S team, and drive continuous improvement across sites. • Lead site assurance visits to verify compliance with legal and Equinix standards. • Provide H&S performance data to stakeholders. • Advise stakeholders and contractors on H&S legislation, industry best practice, and Equinix procedures. • Conduct high‑risk incident investigations, identify root causes, and develop action plans. • Track incidents, actions and safety observations to ensure timely closure. • Identify training needs and monitor team skills registers. • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and contractors to drive performance improvement. • Lead or support ad‑hoc H&S projects aligned with business priorities.

What You Bring
• In‑depth understanding of UK Health, Safety and Wellbeing legislation. • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent, or demonstrable operational safety experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. • Experience with internal and external audits and HSAWA 1974 legislation (advantageous). • Ability to communicate effectively under pressure and make data‑driven decisions. • Strong capability to meet strict deadlines and introduce innovative H&S initiatives.
