Job Highlights
About the Role
The primary responsibility is to safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on designated routes. Drivers must follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards; keep it clean and safe. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using DVIR and report any issues for repair. • Report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, or property damage to Route Manager or Dispatch. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings. • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Assist other drivers as directed and follow scheduled duties. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager. • Dump containers, leave the site clean, and position containers properly. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow route assignments, complete documentation, and check‑in at the end of the route.

What You Bring
• Minimum 1 year operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent military driving (last 7 years); must be 21 years old. • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License and legal authorization to work in the country. • Preferred: High school diploma or GED. • Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, and handling equipment; accommodations provided as needed.
