About the Role

The Community Manager oversees the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager, managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management. As the on‑site leader, the Community Manager ensures compliance with Asset policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns while driving resident satisfaction and operational performance. • Oversee all on‑site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. • Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and address performance issues for on‑site staff. • Achieve optimal net operating income through cost control, budgeting, and leasing improvements. • Develop and execute annual marketing and leasing plans; handle resident complaints and retention programs. • Supervise maintenance, emergency response, and property appearance, ensuring timely repairs and compliance. • Ensure accurate administrative reporting, rent collection, vendor invoice processing, and financial close‑out. • Maintain compliance with Asset policies, fair housing, OSHA, and liability guidelines.

What You Bring

• Minimum 2 years affordable‑housing program experience (LIHTC, HUD, etc.); relevant accreditation preferred. • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or CAM/ARM certification preferred. • Proficient with on‑site software and basic computer skills; reliable transportation for on‑call emergencies. • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform routine property inspections.
