About the Role
The role involves setting up and operating cell manufacturing and test equipment to produce final products, performing inspections for quality, and applying standard work and process control methods. Routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment is required, along with reading and interpreting process documents and maintaining accurate records. The associate also assists in training new team members and communicates production issues to the Production Team Leader while coordinating with purchasing, engineering, and customer service. Key duties include reading diagrams, blueprints, and work orders to determine material requirements, selecting and securing tooling on machines such as hydraulic presses and test rigs, and calibrating equipment for each production order. Production and operational data are recorded on specified forms or tracking systems, and quality checks are performed using measuring instruments like micrometers and height gauges. The employee rotates through all tasks in the production process, works at various workstations, explains procedures to peers, and maintains a safe, orderly workplace while participating in cell meetings. • Set up and operate manufacturing and test equipment to produce final products. • Inspect parts and perform quality checks using measuring instruments. • Follow process documents, adjust and calibrate equipment, and record production data. • Perform routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment. • Train new associates on standard processes, changeovers, and inspection procedures. • Communicate production issues to team leaders and coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and customer service. • Rotate through tasks such as molding, assembly, potting, washing, painting, and inspection. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace and participate in cell meetings.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications are a High School Diploma or GED, with prior industrial assembly experience considered a plus, as well as a solid work history and knowledge of gauging processes. Essential personal characteristics include problem‑solving, attention to detail, strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, reliability, and dependability. Key performance metrics focus on safety, product quality, productivity, and on‑time delivery. Candidates must be able to read and interpret technical documents, safety rules, and process instructions, and to produce routine reports and productivity charts. Basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and proportions are applied to practical situations. Reasoning ability is needed to identify potential problems, apply general rules to specific issues, and interpret instructions presented in various formats. • High School Diploma or GED preferred; prior industrial assembly experience beneficial. • Ability to read technical documents, write reports, and apply basic math and reasoning skills.
