About the Role

The Machine Operator’s primary responsibility is to run machinery in the fabrication shop while ensuring all equipment is maintained and serviced according to established protocols. Level I operators maintain equipment, inspect slabs for defects, and polish and cut stone to specifications. Level II adds mastery of one or more machines, cross‑training on multiple machines, and deeper material knowledge. Level III includes expert‑level operation, maintenance, stone‑characteristic identification, and leadership or mentoring duties. • Operate and maintain fabrication shop machinery according to protocols. • Inspect slabs for defects and ensure accurate cuts. • Polish and cut stone edges to specifications. • Master one or more machines and cross‑train on additional equipment (Level II/III). • Identify stone characteristics and perform expert‑level maintenance (Level III).

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend and stoop for eight or more hours and lift 50 + lb. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, with a technical degree preferred, and 1–5 + years of machine‑running experience. Basic mechanical skills and strong written and verbal communication are also required. • Meet physical demands: stand, walk, lift 50+ lb for 8+ hours. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; technical degree preferred; 1‑5+ years machine experience. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication; leadership and mentoring skills (Level III).

Compensation is $22‑$24 per hour plus benefits.
