About the Role
Key responsibilities include serving as team lead, project manager, or discipline lead on planning, preliminary, and final BRT design studies. The manager will oversee multidisciplinary teams that prepare engineering calculations, develop drawings and visual aids, review multimodal street designs, and produce construction cost and technical effort estimates. Additional duties involve preparing specifications, performing quality‑control reviews, contributing to budget and schedule development, mentoring entry‑level engineers, and ensuring project delivery with minimal supervision. • Lead and manage BRT planning, design, and delivery projects. • Oversee multidisciplinary teams producing calculations, drawings, and visual aids for BRT infrastructure. • Prepare and review multimodal street designs and construction cost estimates. • Conduct quality‑control reviews of design calculations and drawings. • Develop technical specifications and contribute to engineering budgets and schedules. • Mentor entry‑level engineers and coordinate team tasks. • Ensure project completion within budget and schedule with minimal supervision. • Prepare engineering design reports and construction drawings for highway, roadway, transit, or rail projects.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with eight years of relevant experience (or equivalent), a Professional Engineering license, and U.S. citizenship. Candidates must be proficient with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/Power InRoads, Power GeoPak, or OpenRoads Designer, and have experience in roadway and BRT/LRT design. Preferred qualifications include ten or more years of transportation design experience, two years in a leadership role, and five plus years in engineering project management. The ideal candidate can prepare design reports and construction drawings, coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams, interpret national and local BRT/LRT standards, maintain strong client relationships, and demonstrate excellent communication and business development skills. • Hold a Professional Engineering license and 8+ years of engineering experience, including roadway and BRT/LRT design. • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/Power InRoads, or OpenRoads Designer. • Demonstrate strong communication, client relationship, and business development skills.

Benefits
The position offers a hybrid work model with compensation ranging from $135,000 to $190,000 annually. Relocation assistance and sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization are not available.
