About the Role
The role drives customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and financial performance by managing new product development (NPD) and product‑support projects, addressing field, manufacturing, test, and supply‑chain issues, and leading integrated product teams. • Manage budget for all NPD and product support projects, ensuring scope delivery within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments. • Oversee profit and loss for NPD programs and projects. • Lead Integrated Product Team (IPT) across the program. • Implement lessons learned from post‑Gate 5/6 NPD programs addressing field, manufacturing/test, and supply‑chain issues. • Supervise functional participants assigned to product support projects or NPD programs in a matrix environment. • Serve as primary program or site/business unit interface with customers, improving responsiveness and managing expectations and contractual commitments. • Coordinate program and project reviews, prepare and publish metrics and reports. • Maintain earned value, quality, technical performance, and delivery metrics through all PROLaunch phases. • Integrate and manage all program risks and requirements, ensuring goals are achieved. • Manage customer contracts, pricing, terms, conditions, and contractual flow‑down. • Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system, product, market, and customer; develop contract negotiation strategies and ensure effective change management. • Provide periodic program status reports (Green/Yellow/Red) highlighting contractual milestones and high‑risk areas. • Contribute to new business proposals and execute overall program plans. • Seek team input to resolve issues rapidly; coach and provide performance feedback. • Coordinate and monitor One Eaton Aerospace technical personnel across multiple sites.

What You Bring
Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is seeking a Program Manager I for its Los Angeles, CA facility, overseeing platform, site, or business‑unit program management and integrated product teams. • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Minimum two years experience in program or project management. • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. • Access to export‑controlled information; must be a U.S. person as defined by export regulations. • No relocation assistance; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA (active‑duty military exempt). • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. • Experience in aerospace new product development (NPD) and product support programs. • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP). • Experience with risk management and earned value management systems. • Proven leadership ability to drive change in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and global customers. • Proficiency in program and project management methodologies, processes, and tools. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and influence results. • Excellent oral and written communication, planning, and organizational skills. • Capability to manage by influence through strong relationships and process focus. • Ability to present results and recommendations to senior executives.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $107,812 to $158,125 annually, with the final salary based on skills, experience, qualifications, market and business considerations.
