About the Role

In this role you will ensure smooth property operations under the guidance of the Property Manager, handling leasing, rent collection, resident relations, and maintenance coordination while maintaining high standards of service for both residents and staff. • Address delinquent accounts, initiate evictions, and attend court hearings. • Follow up on delinquencies and ensure timely payment collection. • Manage apartment rentals, move‑ins, resident insurance, and lease renewals. • Schedule appointments for prospects and residents. • Maintain accurate resident records and process security deposit refunds. • Record resident correspondence and verify rental eligibility. • Promote resident retention programs and resolve resident concerns. • Provide support and cover duties in the Property Manager’s absence. • Create monthly reports on renewals, rents, leasing, retention, and maintenance. • Train and coach office staff as directed. • Attend staff meetings and take minutes. • Process payments and purchase orders. • Coordinate property work requests to completion. • Build and maintain vendor relationships, handle invoicing and statements. • Oversee lease and renewal processes for accuracy and compliance. • Maintain renewal records and assist with leasing marketing. • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

We expect candidates to have an associate degree or 2–3 years of relevant experience, prior property management or sales/customer‑service managerial experience, and a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem‑solving, and detail‑oriented skills are essential for managing records and multitasking effectively. • Associate degree or 2–3 years related experience (or equivalent). • Prior property management or sales/customer‑service managerial experience. • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance (if traveling). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks and accurate records.
