About the Role
The Design Coordinator role supports planning and design of high‑performance data centers and critical facilities that power cloud computing, AI, and digital infrastructure, collaborating with architects, engineers and project managers to deliver efficient, scalable, and resilient environments. • Evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques and modify construction documents. • Perform architectural assignments with general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager. • Work directly with owners/clients to recommend procedures. • Write architectural specifications and conduct code reviews. • Assist Project Architects, other Design Coordinators, or BIM Specialists across all design phases.

What You Bring
• US citizenship required due to client contract requirements. • Master’s degree in Architecture (preferred). • Experience with data centers and other critical facilities (preferred). • Proficiency in Revit (preferred). • Knowledge of Photoshop, 3‑D Studio Max, Rhino, and Grasshopper (preferred). • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (required). • Eligibility for future licensure (required). • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) (required). • Commitment to pursue registration and growth opportunities (required). • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑management skills (required). • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities (required). • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related tools (required). • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills (required). • Commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture (required).
