About the Role

The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on assigned residential routes, follows all local, state and federal regulations, and maintains a clean, safe vehicle. Daily duties include pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, completing DVIR forms, dumping and positioning containers, keeping customer sites free of debris, and submitting required documentation. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck on residential side‑load routes, complying with all safety and regulatory requirements. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report any issues promptly. • Dump and position containers cleanly, ensuring lids are replaced and driveways remain unobstructed. • Complete all required documentation, customer tickets, and route check‑ins each day. • Communicate customer requests, incidents, or route problems to Dispatch or Route Manager. • Provide legal eligibility to work in Canada with a valid SIN and pass pre‑employment drug screen, physical, and background check. • Participate in scheduled training, briefings, and safety meetings.

This union Single-Man Side-Load Residential DZ driver position is based in Napanee, Ontario, Canada. Loading of containers is performed manually, and candidates with physical‑labor experience are preferred. The role offers a starting wage of $30.62 per hour. Effective communication with the Route Manager and Dispatch is required to report unsafe situations, incidents, customer requests, and any route‑related issues such as blocked containers or missed pickups. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada, possess a valid Social Insurance Number, hold a current DZ or Class 3 manual license, be at least 18 years old, and have an acceptable driving record. A pre‑employment drug screen, physical, background check and motor‑vehicle‑record review are also required. • Hold a valid DZ or Class 3 license (manual truck preferred) and be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record.
