About the Role
The role involves fabricating duct work for large projects such as hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools and other vertical markets, contributing to the company’s $85 million annual revenue. The employee will assist with shipping and receiving, seal and prepare duct work for shipment, organize materials, lift loads, collaborate with supervisors and coworkers, operate and maintain equipment, and handle additional projects as assigned. • Assist with shipping and receiving, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise. • Seal fabricated duct work for shipment. • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards. • Complete jobs promptly to ensure on‑time shipment. • Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items manually or with a dolly cart. • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers. • Operate and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. • Perform additional projects assigned by supervisor. • Use various hand and power tools to assemble products. • Work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
