About the Role
Lead Project Management Specialist – Project Planning at Baker Hughes focuses on delivering high-quality subsea control system projects. The role involves meticulous schedule management, coordination with planners and execution functions, and direct support to the project manager. The specialist will act as the right-hand to the project manager, providing look-ahead forecasts, identifying schedule risks and opportunities, and generating reports that enable on-time, on-budget execution. Interaction with customers to convey schedule status and challenges is also a key part of the job. • Manage overall project schedule quality, logic, clarity, and date accuracy. • Coordinate with product line planners, engineering planners, and execution teams (engineering, procurement, manufacturing). • Create look-ahead plans, assess schedule risks, and propose mitigation actions. • Identify schedule opportunities and drive appropriate actions. • Provide regular schedule reports and updates to project management and customers. • Ensure adherence to approved processes and champion new integrated planning initiatives.

What You Bring
A bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent experience) and strong expertise in Primavera P6 are required, with knowledge of Oracle MRP a plus. Candidates should have proven experience planning large oil-and-gas or subsea projects, high energy, leadership skills, and the ability to translate schedule data into actionable insights. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience. • Demonstrated experience in planning large oil & gas/subsea or mechanical manufacturing projects. • Proficiency with Primavera P6; Oracle MRP knowledge is a plus. • Strong analytical ability to link schedule status to execution reality. • High energy, motivation, leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills.
