Project Manager

About the Role

This role is part of one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia, a major mixed‑use development that includes sports facilities, entertainment, arts and all associated infrastructure. It leads project delivery to meet time, cost and quality targets, coordinates stakeholders, manages teams and ensures fee expectations, risk mitigation and change control are met. The position is responsible for developing stockpile and mass‑haul strategies, managing end‑to‑end delivery, overseeing earthworks execution, providing technical leadership for overland conveyor systems, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and driving a strong HSW culture. • Develop and control stockpile and mass‑haul strategies (geometry, stability, classification, logistics). • Manage end‑to‑end project delivery (schedules, budgets, risks, governance, quality). • Oversee earthworks execution including excavation, haulage, placement, compaction and fleet optimisation. • Lead technical delivery of overland conveyor systems (design, installation, commissioning, integration). • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, drive KPIs and ensure contractor performance, HSW, QA/QC compliance. • Champion HSW culture, promoting safety, well‑being, inclusion and Stop Work authority. • Uphold safety‑first mindset, ensuring a safe and inclusive work environment. • Deliver client‑focused outcomes and maintain long‑term relationships. • Foster continuous improvement and create development opportunities for people.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in civil, mining, geotechnical or a related engineering discipline, has experience on large‑scale earthworks or mega‑infrastructure projects, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, is proficient with Civil 3D, GIS and mass‑haul tools, and demonstrates a strong delivery drive and collaborative mindset. • Hold a bachelor’s (or master’s) in civil, mining, geotechnical or related engineering. • Experience on large‑scale earthworks, mining operations or mega‑infrastructure projects. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. • Proficient with Civil 3D, GIS, mass‑haul analysis and conveyor performance software. • Strong delivery drive and ability to align stakeholders around a common vision.
