About the Role
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to deliver prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspection to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. The driver follows the assigned route sheet, loads refuse, operates the compactor, and disposes of material at the designated facility while interacting professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. Any safety issues, unsatisfactory containers, or waste spills are reported and addressed in accordance with company procedures. Drivers maintain vehicle readiness by cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body, completing route and productivity sheets, and submitting daily vehicle condition reports.
