About the Role
The Associate Engineer is an entry‑level engineering position based in Houston, Texas, responsible for supporting engineering activities and collaborating with the procurement and construction teams. • Prepare requisitions for equipment and material purchases. • Conduct technical bid evaluations for equipment, materials, bulk material, and subcontracts with Procurement. • Observe factory acceptance testing of equipment alongside the Lead Engineer. • Perform engineering calculations and analyses as required. • Review vendor drawings. • Accept short‑ and extended‑term assignments to site or client offices as requested by the Chief Engineer.

What You Bring
The role operates primarily in an office environment with typical sedentary work, though it may involve short‑ or extended‑term assignments at project sites or client offices, requiring occasional lifting of up to 10 lb. • Possess 0–3 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry. • Demonstrate proficiency with computer systems in an engineering environment. • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. • Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering; EIT certification preferred. • Show results orientation, customer focus, impact and influence, and business and people acumen. • Maintain strong interpersonal skills for working with multi‑disciplinary teams and managers. • Demonstrate excellent organizational ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
