About the Role
The Aerial Foreman supports all phases of utility construction on telecom projects, ensuring work is performed correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities include overseeing crew activities, managing daily schedules, and maintaining accurate documentation. • Install and/or repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable. • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open‑wire, and drop and block wire to maintain efficient customer facilities. • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers. • Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions to ensure compliance with design. • Direct on‑site activities and lead in‑house crews. • Complete required documentation and record crew time. • Communicate with the Area Supervisor or Manager. • Oversee daily schedules, deliveries, and crew productivity. • Ensure proper safety practices throughout the job.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, possesses at least three years of telecommunications construction experience, and has hands‑on expertise in coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and aerial/underground work. Leadership, problem‑solving, and the ability to work in a bucket truck or climb poles are essential. • Minimum 3 + years telecommunications construction experience. • Proficient in coax and fiber splicing, directional drilling, and aerial/underground construction. • OSHA 10, CPR, and flagging certifications with knowledge of OSHA safety requirements. • Ability to operate a bucket truck, climb up to 35 ft, and lift up to 70 lb. • Strong understanding of CATV building practices and CTV/Aerial field equipment. • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. • Comfortable working on call, including evenings and weekends. • Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions and under pressure. • Able to read and interpret work orders and CTV cable prints. • Relevant MOS codes (e.g., 2847, B05A, 3D157, etc.) applicable to the role.
