About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment while collaborating across facilities. • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventative maintenance routines and document them accurately. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Manage work orders, track labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts usage, and department inventory. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive communication across all operations facilities. • Conduct predictive and preventative maintenance; read blueprints and electrical schematics. • Work in warehouse settings with fluctuating temperatures; walk 6‑12 miles per day. • Perform computer tasks for 1‑2 hours daily.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two years of experience repairing MHE or automated conveyor systems, and experience with preventive maintenance, blueprint reading, and electrical principles. Familiarity with CMMS and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, as well as flexible scheduling, are required. An associate’s degree in a mechanical or electrical field and experience with robotics are preferred. The role involves physical tasks such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing ladders, using aerial lifts, and regularly lifting up to 50 lb, while wearing appropriate PPE. Work is performed in warehouse environments with variable temperatures and may require walking 6‑12 miles per day and occasional computer work. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years repairing MHE or automated conveyor systems. • Understand electrical and electronic principles; use a CMMS. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; flexible with schedule. • Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical/electrical field (preferred). • Experience with MHE safety standards and robotic operation/maintenance (preferred). • Troubleshoot basic input and output functions (preferred). • Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lifts, and lift up to 50 lb frequently. • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
