About the Role
The Transaction Manager will develop and execute acquisition, renewal, and disposition strategies for a portfolio of medium‑to‑high complexity properties, adhering to client master service agreements. The role emphasizes aligning strategies with client objectives while optimizing value. The role requires a deep understanding of client objectives to craft acquisition, renewal, and disposal strategies. Responsibilities span market research, due‑diligence, cost‑reduction initiatives, negotiation of leases and offers, and preparation of documentation such as letters of intent and renewal agreements. The Transaction Manager serves as the primary liaison among clients, landlords, brokers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely execution of critical dates and accurate maintenance of transaction records. • Design and recommend acquisition, renewal, and disposition strategies that align with client objectives and maximize portfolio value. • Perform financial analysis and develop business cases to support transaction recommendations. • Conduct market research, due‑diligence, and cost‑reduction studies to inform decision‑making. • Lead negotiations and prepare transaction documentation such as offers to lease, letters of intent, and renewal agreements. • Manage relationships with clients, landlords, brokers, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle. • Ensure compliance with Quebec real‑estate legislation and adherence to service‑level agreements. • Maintain accurate records of all lease transactions and generate related reports.
What You Bring
The organization is seeking a bilingual (French/English) Transaction Manager for its Quebec operations. Candidates must hold an active Quebec Real Estate License. Applicants should hold a community‑college diploma in business administration and have at least five years of real‑estate transaction experience, preferably in the industrial sector. Advanced skills in strategy development, negotiation, relationship management, market analysis, and interpretation of real‑estate legislation are required.
