About the Role

• Review CEQA documents and permit applications to support client projects. • Manage a subset of permit and CEQA projects to balance workloads. • Perform report reviews to ensure RIPTIDE delivers quality products. • Assist with RFIs to position RIPTIDE for winning port work. • Meet with sales teams to identify strategy and discussion points. • Monitor legislation and initiatives; inform NV5 leadership of work opportunities. • Attend relevant meetings and conferences strategically. • Review and provide feedback on occasional white papers and proposals.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Geography/GIS, or related field; Master’s preferred. • Have 10+ years experience as an Environmental Consultant specializing in Port initiatives. • Demonstrate effective teamwork and strong oral and written communication. • Work well within a team/hybrid environment. • Apply creative solutions and strong problem‑solving skills. • Pass background check and drug screening.
