About the Role
The Equipment Operations Coordinator will provide support to equipment operations, including creating and reviewing data entry transactions, organizing and distributing goods and services, billings, and utilizing data to support efficiency in the equipment rental business. This position will be responsible for a variety of internal and external customer transactions relating to incoming equipment and material orders, fleet information and billings, data entry, and work orders, all performed in support of JE Dunn’s strategy, vision, and values. • Perform routine duties in purchasing, fleet/inventory counter operations, billing, and distribution for equipment rental and construction supply. • Enter rental and material transactions accurately using ERP software. • Respond promptly to internal and external customers and vendors via phone and email regarding equipment and material transactions. • Provide pricing, availability, and specification details to customers and vendors. • Handle shipping, receiving, and storage of fleet and inventory materials as needed. • Organize and consolidate equipment and inventory loads, validating transfer tickets for accurate transactions. • Guide drivers on proper storage locations using knowledge of warehouse organization. • Participate in regularly scheduled safety meetings. • Utilize key operational reports to understand the equipment rental business. • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement plans. • Provide suggestions and help draft Small Win communications. • Write purchase orders for inventory, equipment, and job material needs in the ERP system. • Follow up on submitted purchase orders and communicate with requestors. • Research equipment and inventory as directed and update the logistics catalog. • Perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner. • Learn and operate data‑entry systems. • Identify common construction materials and equipment. • Deliver excellent customer service through positive interactions. • Build relationships and collaborate within internal and external teams.

What You Bring
The typical work environment is a normal office setting, though employees may be exposed to extreme temperatures and must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and computer work. • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Understand internal equipment management tools. • Possess thorough knowledge of logistics operations, including warehouse organization and fulfillment processes. • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. • Minimum 2 + years of rental, warehouse, or construction materials experience preferred. • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. • Normal office environment, with possible exposure to extreme hot or cold conditions. • Frequent activities: standing, walking, sitting, viewing computer screen. • Occasional activities: bending, climbing, reaching above shoulder, pushing, pulling.
