By combining the industry’s largest independent research organization with global data delivery, software, and application solutions, clients can act on opportunities with confidence. • Translate product vision into user stories, clear specifications, and acceptance criteria • Maintain direct communication with developers, management, and product design teams • Hold regular stakeholder and grooming meetings to update project progress • Document user requirements and business rules for application development • Collaborate with QA staff to ensure comprehensive testing of new features • Respond to issues raised by internal and external groups • Analyze application and usage data to understand products and customers • Document detailed product requirements for multiple development teams • Use process/architecture diagram tools such as Visio

What You Bring
Our Arlington, VA team is seeking an accomplished Senior Technical Business Analyst to support multiple software products and brands, including www.Costar.com. The role will have direct impact on highly visible web applications used by millions, and will involve learning emerging technologies to improve our software products. • Understand CoStar's business, product goals, and role in the commercial real estate industry • Understand end‑to‑end test cases across applications • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not‑for‑profit university or college • Demonstrate a proven track record of commitment to prior employers • Provide at least 5 years of product, systems, or business analysis experience • Work highly self‑directed, driving outcomes with minimal supervision • Possess Agile/Scrum experience • Have basic SQL database knowledge • Bring 4+ years of Product Owner experience • Experience documenting requirements for API work (a plus) • Show advanced Excel proficiency • Experience with Agile development processes • Exhibit strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
