About the Role

The Concierge serves as the face of AvalonBay, welcoming prospects and residents at the front desk and ensuring a luxury‑living experience. Responsibilities include monitoring foot traffic, delivering top‑notch customer service, implementing resident‑satisfaction programs, and collaborating with leasing and maintenance teams to streamline move‑ins, move‑outs, and daily interactions.

What You Bring

• Ability to tackle new problems and see them through, demonstrating follow‑through and resident care. • Strong communication skills, both in‑person and over the phone, with well‑developed writing and speaking abilities. • Effective time management, juggling multiple tasks and time‑sensitive requests while staying composed and positive. • Patience and poise when handling difficult situations, delivering high‑level customer service to residents, vendors, and prospects. • Strong organization skills for handling phone messages, resident packages, and maintenance requests efficiently. • High School diploma or GED required. • At least one year of related experience in a hotel, retail, or restaurant setting (preferred). • Proficiency with administrative software and the Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to walk the property and handle packages or deliveries.
