About the Role
• Inspect bridge and highway construction, measure quantities, and document daily work with reports, photos, and sketches. • Oversee and coordinate construction inspection documentation. • Ensure work complies with NYSDOT specifications. • Apply project plans, company policies, standards, and specifications to make decisions. • Maintain project documentation and communicate with all project levels. • Coordinate site activities and resolve work‑related problems.

What You Bring
• NICET II certification or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required). • Minimum of 2+ years related experience. • Experience with federally‑aided transportation projects and NYSDOT or municipal clients preferred. • Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors for extended periods. • High attention to detail, strong mathematics skills, and a collaborative team attitude. • Familiarity with Appia/CEES and NYSDOT's Manual of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK) preferred. • Ability to read, write, and understand English for job‑related communications.
