About the Role

This first‑shift (Monday‑Friday) role involves operating equipment to produce products that fully meet specifications and manufacturing orders. The incumbent will pre‑plate inspect wiredraw materials, alert operators of non‑conforming items, and ensure all quality audits, documentation, and product identification tags are completed. Key responsibilities include identifying off‑spec plated material, maintaining standard production rates while adhering to quality and safety standards, performing daily preventive maintenance, and assisting the maintenance team with weekly line PMs to maximize productivity. The role also focuses on minimizing reject rates and scrap, applying SPC techniques, and participating in continuous‑improvement activities. • Operate equipment on 1st shift (Mon‑Fri) to meet production rates and product specifications. • Perform pre‑plate inspection of wiredraw materials and notify operators of non‑conforming items. • Maintain quality documentation, pass audits, and ensure proper product identification tags. • Identify off‑spec plated material and remove it from the production run. • Conduct daily preventive maintenance and assist with weekly line PMs. • Minimize reject rate and scrap using SPC techniques to reduce copper thickness. • Follow all safety rules, keep the work area orderly, and wear required PPE in a hot, humid chemical environment. • Lift, pull, and push steel coil material, handling loads up to 50 lb. • Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) for documentation. • Participate in continuous‑improvement activities as requested.

What You Bring

The position requires the ability to work in a hot, humid chemical environment while wearing appropriate PPE, lift up to 50 lb, and handle steel coil material. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of manufacturing/plating experience, forklift certification (or ability to obtain it), basic reading, writing, blueprint‑reading, measuring‑tool, math, and Microsoft Office skills. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; have at least one year of manufacturing/plating experience. • Maintain forklift certification or be able to obtain training and certification. • Read basic blueprints, use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, copper gauge), and apply basic math.
