About the Role

The Chief Architecture Technical Lead serves as the senior architect responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing enterprise‑architecture products, creating and evaluating architectural views, frameworks, and technical baselines that guide system‑of‑systems modernization and long‑term enterprise design. In this role, the lead partners with System Program Offices and cross‑division architecture leads to ensure consistent architectural direction, supports enterprise‑level integration, trade studies, and gap analyses, and guides architecture teams in developing compliant technical artifacts. • Develop, refine, and maintain enterprise architecture products and views. • Conduct architectural analyses, trade studies, gap assessments, and risk evaluations. • Coordinate with System Program Offices to align architecture with program requirements and technical baselines. • Synchronize architectural direction across divisions and resolve cross‑organizational issues. • Guide creation and documentation of technical architecture artifacts in accordance with enterprise standards. • Integrate inputs from engineering teams, mission partners, and program offices into cohesive architecture. • Support enterprise planning by assessing architectural impacts and identifying modernization opportunities. • Lead architecture process improvements and adopt evolving engineering methodologies.

What You Bring

Candidates must have 15–20+ years of systems engineering or enterprise‑architecture experience on large, complex programs, a master’s degree in engineering or computer science, and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, along with expertise in Safe Agile, release engineering, and cross‑functional coordination. Preferred experience includes managing architecture development for large programs, proficiency with DoDAF/UAF, MBSE models, digital engineering artifacts, and supporting cloud‑based or modern software architectures for enterprise modernization. • 15–20+ years experience in systems engineering or enterprise architecture for large, complex programs. • Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science. • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; experience with Safe Agile, release, and system engineering. • Experience with DoDAF/UAF, MBSE models, digital engineering, and cloud‑based or modern software architectures.
