About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, provides prompt and courteous waste removal services, ensures the vehicle complies with the company's safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. • Perform full pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections. • Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and dispose of waste at the designated facility. • Load, compact, and unload refuse using manual or automatic controls per safety procedures. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and colleagues to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers according to procedures. • Monitor waste for prohibited materials and clean accidental spills following safety standards. • Keep the vehicle clean and ready by removing waste from the packer blade and truck body after each trip. • Complete route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports accurately. • Meet productivity standards while adhering to all safety policies and the ReSOP program. • Provide professional, honest, and trustworthy customer service.
