About the Role
Parsons is looking for a Civil Inspector to join our team. In this role you will ensure the successful execution and quality of road and utility infrastructure projects by conducting thorough inspections and implementing company standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, standards, and specifications; maintaining detailed records by documenting inspection results and preparing comprehensive reports; collaborating with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve issues or discrepancies; enforcing adherence to safety regulations and quality‑control standards on site; performing regular site visits and inspections to track construction progress and ensure workmanship quality; supporting the development and implementation of standardized inspection procedures and protocols; and organizing and managing inspection records to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and current. • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, standards, and specifications. • Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare comprehensive reports. • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and discrepancies. • Enforce safety regulations and quality‑control standards on site. • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and workmanship quality. • Support development and implementation of standardized inspection procedures and protocols. • Organize and manage inspection documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy. • Provide unlimited growth opportunities and support employee wellbeing.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering and has a minimum of five years’ experience supervising road and infrastructure construction projects. You must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with related construction processes. Preferably you have experience working in Abu Dhabi, the UAE, or the GCC within an engineering consulting firm. Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff are required. • Hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in civil engineering. • Possess at least five years of experience supervising road and infrastructure projects. • Read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications proficiently. • Familiar with construction processes related to the assignment. • Preferably experienced in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or GCC engineering consulting firms. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. • Communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
