About the Role

The Project Manager leads moderately complex, medium‑to‑high priority projects, providing expertise in project setup, scope definition, risk identification, methodology, and resource allocation. They maintain control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations while presenting updates to management and clients. In this role you will manage fire‑alarm, security, and communications projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities, overseeing design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation. Responsibilities include developing comprehensive project plans, conducting Work‑in‑Progress meetings, ensuring compliance with codes and SOX procedures, and coordinating change orders to improve margins. • Lead medium to high priority fire alarm, security, and communications projects across commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities. • Define project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource allocation while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction. • Coordinate design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation; conduct Work-in-Progress meetings. • Manage vendor relationships, change orders, and drive margin improvement on each job. • Ensure compliance with codes, standards, AHJ requirements, and company SOX procedures.

What You Bring

Qualified candidates have at least three years of experience in fire protection, electrical installation, construction, or related project management, and can interpret complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents. Strong multitasking, communication, and advanced Excel skills—including spreadsheet tracking and macros—are essential. A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field, NICET Level II or higher, and knowledge of industry standards are preferred. • Require 3+ years of fire protection, electrical installation, construction or related project management experience. • Ability to read complex architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings and produce detailed tracking spreadsheets in Excel with macros. • Strong verbal and written communication, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field; NICET Level II or higher; knowledge of standards and building codes.
